A set of 6 pieces 5cm foiled back Aurora Borealis (AB) acrylic gems.

The AB finish gives it a unique, colour-changing, rainbow effect when it catches the light. The coating reflects light in such a way that the colour of the gem changes depending on the angle of light. Compared to basic plastic gems, AB acrylic gems look so much more vibrant and luxe. The coating elevates them visually. They're like the "deluxe edition" of play gems.

These shiny, sparkly and multicoloured gems are a favourite among children for a wide range of imaginative and educational activities.

There are no specific rules or instructions. Children can use the gems in whatever way they imagine, which stimulates creativity and problem-solving. Kids can pretend they're treasures, magical crystals, endless fun and possibiltles. 

Please note that our foil-backed gems are designed for visual impact, but due to the delicate nature of the foil, some wear and tear over time—such as scratching or peeling—may occur. For best longevity, we recommend using them in gentle play and avoiding rough handling.
